The Aurora
The Aurora from Terje Sorgjerd on Vimeo.
Watch this on full screen for the whole effect. It's lovely.

“My dear, you don’t seem to realize that all there is in life is love. That’s all there is. Money doesn’t matter, what you own doesn’t matter, how old you are, who your friends are, what you accomplish in life, means nothing. The only thing worth anything is love. Love is what makes our time on Earth worth something. And you know something else? Love, true love, is rare. It doesn’t happen very often. Most people spend their lives searching for it and never find it.”

Summer
“And summer isn’t a time. It’s a place as well. Summer is a moving creature and likes to go south for the winter.”

Moon
“I can’t help but wonder if there’s some moon inside me, spinning and shifting without my consent, making here over there and over there here, and I’m afraid I’ll end up rolling out, beyond the lifeguard stand, up and over the dunes and into the parking lot, sprawling into the roads, unearthing houses and lampposts, drowning children I’ve knocked from their bikes. I stare at the farthest reaches of the tallest trees, jutting up like the tips of an explosion, and I imagine touching them but it feels all wrong, like fingering the corners of my heart–somewhere that shouldn’t be touchable, a place that shouldn’t be reached. And wherever that is, I know that’s where I am.”
